FKT: Jason Richard - Yuraygir Coastal Walk (NSW, Australia) - 2023-07-07

Ran the Yuraygir Coastal Trail following the GPX file from FKT website. I did not resupply food - carried all from the outset -and only obtained water from public taps. 
 

I swam the major river crossings using a dry bag to carry shoes. The crossings would be treacherous for poor swimmers. 
 

There is a 5km stretch south of Wooli which is not a trail, it’s a rocky headland with some dangerous sections. Requires dexterity and strength. 
 

I had no trouble finding the start and end points of the trail but missed quite a few turns and had to back track, increasing distance. River crossings were difficult and also added distance.
