I started right at dawn and temps were in the 20's. Great running all day, got turned around once but quickly figured it out. I filtered water several times along the way. I met my friends just after Pilot Mountain, and my best friend Josh ran the final 15 with me. It was great to finish in the campground and drink champagne with my crew! Great day on a great trail!
