I took off from Durango at 8am MT on Sunday, Aug 18. I had a 4-6 man crew and a pacer with me the whole time. Jesse Haynes, Scott Jurek, Shad Mika, Jean Perarnaud, Jeff Smock, Devon Yanko, Sarah Ostaszewski, Don Reichelt, Chris Raup, Kyle Curtain, and Ryan Norman pulled multiple pacing shifts throughout the week. We used all the segment access points except Carson Saddle and San Luis Pass. We filtered water on the fly and pacers hauled extra water when needed. I had some rough GI issues on days 2, 3 & 4, but was able to iron it out. There were a few rain storms and just one night of gnarly weather from Tin Cup to Cottonwood Pass. I resupplied food at every check point, and pacers carried a small ration of food, hydration and emergency kit.
