The idea to complete the GR54 was born because the trail passes right in front of my home.
I did a first attempt at breaking the FKT women in 2024 and completed the course in 46h58.
This year, 2025, I trained and got prepared to break the record and it was success.
The adventure was completed with the help of my husband, coach and, trail runner friends from “Les 2 Alpes Trail” association.
I started the 31st of July, 2025 at 5h57 AM in Bourg d’Oisans and came back to this point after 39h12min.
I followed the standard route with the well known GR white and red marks along the trail. My crew met me at eight distinct points to refuel and refresh. The weather was on our side for the entire adventure. My strategy was to divide the course in eight sections in order to have a fresh pacer to run by my side.
Overall it was a success and a personnal achievement fueling my next trail adventure.
