FKT: Jeremy Gardner - CT Appalachian Trail (CT) - 2024-11-27

I had been thinking about this FKT for a loooong time and I finally made a plan to attempt it on my 47th birthday. I grew up in the area, so running by my high school and finishing a few miles from my aunts house was a great trip down memory lane! Weather was perfect at the start, but the clouds didnt last and the sun was out most of the day. I didnt really remember how rocky this section was! Water was mostly readily available, I just didnt do a great job of drinking it. So glad to be on the board with these other great trail runners, and I look forward to the upcoming speedsters to bring this time down.
