I am submitting my gpx track in hopes of amending the route to include the full summit o&b portion for all future attempts on the FKT.
I went out today and took the time down to just over three hours (brought down by 1hr 11m). After seeing Brendan Gilpatrick's comment under the FKT page about the original route set by Sara not going to the well known "summit" of South West Tumbledown I agreed this route felt incomplete and if runners are doing the full O&B to both of the Jacksons they should not miss this 1.5 miles of above treeline slab running above the alpine pond (it is truly some of the best of this entire day). I did Sara's entire route but continued on adding in the full O&B to the summit instead of stopping at the pond before descending. I'm not sure why she didn't add this as it's the title of the FKT and the most popular summit but I am submitting my gpx track in hopes of amending the route to include this portion for all future attempts on the FKT.
This new version adds a mile and a half and about 1k of vertical and is just a continuation of her original route so the route has not been altered in it's form but lengthened on one of the o&b legs.
