Matt and I had fun with this loop! We started in the morning and decided to go counterclockwise around the lake. It was a perfect day -- no rain and not too hot-- so we really got lucky with the weather! It was fun being able to see Rainier from different view points throughout the loop. Going through different neighborhoods and commercial areas was also a neat way to explore that part of the city. There are a few gas stations along the route so pretty easy to refuel nutrition/hydration if needed. There were also a few different park restrooms which was a life saver!
