On August third I raced Beast Of Big Creek. Unfortunately on the way down I blasted by the Forest Loop Trail turn off and finished the race as a complete out-and-back to the campground. I was disqualified which makes sense. After doing a bit of research I noticed that I ran the Ellinor Round Trip FKT route and feel like it is worth submitting as a mens time. I did not use the aid station and carried all my own water/food but since this time is technically from a race I would still consider the style to be Fully Supported. The only deviation from the route is where the race branched off to the aid station at the upper parking lot TH. This detour makes the route slightly longer in distance and elevation gain (you can see in my GPX File). I calculated my time of 2:05:23 from when I passed the Ellinor TH. It took 00:06:23 to get there at the start of the race and 00:04:21 to get from there to the finish at the end of the race.
Conditions were very hot. I suspect someone could almost certainly bring this time below two hours on a cool day and also buy not taking the Aid Station detour to the Upper Parking Lot on the way up and down.
