Waited til the end of Summer so it wasn't too hot. Set off at first light and warmed up down the road before ascending Bear Canyon. Got to the top almost bang on time, and set off down the rest of the trail. Had never ran the Three T's before, and was surprised by the amount of climbing and the technicalness of the terrain. Got through with enough time and energy to attack the descent down Icehouse Canyon to claim the FKT, but feel like there are a lot of areas to improve.
The biggest sadness in a route like this is not being given the time to sit and enjoy the view from the summit of Baldy. Probably the best view in LA, and I took maybe 60 seconds to breathe it in before heading down the trail. Will enjoy it more next time!
