Cannot recommend this route enough: it was tons of fun and more challenging than the profile hints. Adam Hill's time is mind-bending.
We originally thought that including a bivy stop was a luxury, but it sure didn't feel like it at the time. If we were to do it again, we'd repeat the counterclockwise direction (avoiding climbing Cheoah on the Bartram) and do it during the summer. Even with the heat, the extra daylight would help tons with the technical sections (i.e. all of the Bartram).
