One of those days that felt a bit surreal, made me never want to take these outings for granted. Perfect temperature, little smoke, zero wind, & not another soul out there (plenty of elk though). Just total silence & an extra long sunrise from the smokey sky below. Planned on going to North only if I summited South in ~1:15 so that I wouldn’t be late for work. Summit under 1:05 got me psyched & didn’t feel too bad, so I kept on cruising! The traverse to North & back is such a blast. Doing this under 2hrs via the actual trails would be RAD! Creek dip at the TH and back in Ned around 8am for a bagel & some wifi before heading home. Stoked & feeling unbelievably lucky to get to do this stuff
