Weather was high 20's for the first day and whilst the ground was good and the pace was solid it was hard to stay hydrated...was very glad of running on a Sunday when there were various cafes and other places open to top up water and fluids!

Cooler temps at night were better for running and really enjoyed the whole night section although the long stretch from the Rose & Crown at Dunton through to a 24 hour service station just past Kits Coty was a long slog and was very glad of the food top up from the night window at 3am!

Second day was tough as the tiredness set in and struggled a bit with getting enough food in but managed to keep eating right to the end and was glad to snag a fresh apple from the tree on the way through Perry Court Farm!  The tearoom at Wye was a life saver and allowed me to stock up for the push to the finish!

Really enjoyable run and very happy with how it went overall...definitely a couple of hours to shave off this if I did it again...but no plans to do so!
