Conditions were tough to run as fast as I wanted. Very slick with hard rain overnight through about 9am. I started at 10am. Be careful on the numerous wooden bridges, which get slick when wet. Also, the course is not conducive to truly opening it up since there are repeated quick, tight turns in the forest. A couple times I needed to stop to make sure I went the right way at major intersections.
Overall, I did enjoy the route. Single track in a dense forest. I saw several deer and one turtle directly on the trail.
I did not carry any water or nutrition.
