I set out from Algonquin park carrying my own nutrition. My partner carried water and we met at predetermined checkpoints to drink. Because of Covid water fountains and restrooms were sketchy and some were not open. The day was perfect, starting out about 40F and warming to 60F by the end of the run. My legs felt surprisingly good and when I realized I was close to marathon PR pace I pushed through that distance and slowed afterward to get to the finish. My device does not support routes and I made a wrong turn through the 3rd Ward area where the route is not obvious, and got back on track at the next block.
