Decided to start the route from Cefn Canol. Parked in the small Chapel car park and ran the 1/2 Mile to the entrance to Bwlch-y-Donge farm. (picture) ((I didn't sleep well and it was early?))
I did the route anti clockwise and unsupported. Conditions were pretty much perfect. Cool, dry and very firm underfoot.
I followed the gpx file of the two ladies who created the route. Small zigzag in the wood close to the Pen-y-gwelly reservoir (1 mile from my finish) was slightly off route, but followed their uploaded route file. It only took an extra 30-40 seconds.
