On a very warm day, I decided to have a go at the Telford 50 fkt. I started with a friend, who ran with me for just over half of the route. I ran the final 23 or so miles myself. I have listed the run as 'Supported' as my friend had stuffed a refuel bag around 30 miles, that I used. I also begged a resident for the use of his outside tap! He kindly obliged. Other than that I carried everything for the attempt.
I made a few errors on navigation, which bumped the distance up a bit (half a mile more) annoying doubling back due to fatigue and concentration loss more than anything. I made sure I returned to the proper route.
It's a lovely route. Quite a bit of tarmac. Very hot day, especially difficult considering how cool its been recently.
