Started this run unsupported with 4 liters of water on the 8th of august.
The heat got up to 30°. The first half of the route is forested but the second half was mostly exposed to the sun.
I was pretty thirsty by the time I got to Forchheim.
The last climb was pretty brutal and I had to walk most of it.
Getting back to Pegnitz main station via public transportation can be a bit tricky but possible by train and bus.
