Really muddy in places - had light road shoes (Hoka Rincon) with waterproof socks which was good combo as was ankle deep mud/water at times! Quite windy too, especially in Richmond Park. Took 3l hydration pack + 2x softflasks - just about enough as not sunny or warm. Also 12 cereal/protein bars. Few places closed so needed to detour (abney cemetery and the park just before it, also couple of bits on the thames). And a really annoying private estate that had locked their gate through to the thames path, grrrr.
