Such a fun route and I loved all the variety throughout. Those are some gnarly trails in the Blue Hills, especially with all the rain we got yesterday. Made things a little slippery and dangerous. I'm happy to get the men on the board and thanks for the awesome route.
Overall it wasn't a bad day for me and I enjoyed my time exploring Boston a bit more. My wife and I are new to Massachusetts and it was a great way to get to see some parts of the city I haven't seen before. Like I said I greatly underestimated Blue Hills and did the whole thing in road shoes. Would definitely suggest to anyone who does this route to either switch shoes between the road and trail section or maybe just wear trail shoes throughout.
