This route has held my attention for a while. I love how high up the route stays, the average elevation is roughly 13,280’. It’s fun being above treeline continuously for 14 miles on a point-to-point route.
It also passes over six summits, two 14ers: Grays (14,270’) and Torreys (14,267’), one Centennial: Edwards (13,850’), two Bicentennials: Square Top Mountain A (13,794’) and Argentine Peak (13,738’), plus Grizzly Peak D (13,427’).
My brother (Seth James DeMoor) was at the finish. Lucky to have an older brother help shuttle so I didn’t have to hitchhike during the COVID pandemic.
