Wow one of the most beautiful traverses I've seen in the USA! Lots of traffic no matter what time you start makes this a route that is maybe better for just exploring as oposed to a fast run through. Some technical, some smooth spots and of course amazing Alpine Lakes. Got lost a ton as its tough to route find here but I think thats the norm so most folks chasing times here have no choice. Started a lil before the trailhead and ran a little past finish trailhead at snowlakes TH to assure I had the complete gpx data so in reality my time was 3:02:57 just a few seconds quicker than overall time.
