I noticed there were 3 FKT's within an hours drive of each other and decided to attempt them all in a 24 hour period. This was the first one before heading off to Shawnee Ridge just before sunset and then the Logan Trail at dawn. Quick note about this trail - I'm attempting it because it's listed on the site and has been broken a few times lately which is fun but it's not necessarily a "bucket list" trail and its quite short at just under 4 miles (I've never done an FKT less than 15 miles before). I was informed by a local runner that someone has run this trail as fast as 23 minutes before and I have no reason not to believe them. However, it's not on strava and the runner chose not to report it, so for the time being, 27:55 is the fastest known/recorded time. Can definitely go faster so come and get it! PS - the mud was crazy as it's rained a lot lately. It will be much more pleasant if you attempt this trail after a few dry days.
