Started just before 7:00 a.m. on a Saturday with a liter of water and a couple gels. I only needed about half the water I took because it was nice and cool for the whole run. I passed about 20 people hiking on Sharp Top, no one was on Flat Top and a couple folks on Harkening Hill.
The wind was annoying on the run from Flat Top to Harkening Hill, probably about 15-20 mph and right in my face. I had to turn my hat around to keep it from getting blown off.
It was pretty miserable having all that climbing. I felt very slow but I'm glad I did it. Someone who is not slow can probably do it at least 15 minutes faster.
