This was my second time completing this route so I had a good idea of what to expect.  The trail is very defined up to the Notch Shelter, then I followed the scree fields to the Halo Ridge, which involved more scrambling and crossed a couple 13,000+ peaks.  It was the perfect day without high winds at the summit.  The trail was busy on the descent since it was a Saturday in August.  I carried only a camelback with 1.5 L of fluid and took in maybe 600 calories.  I ran a majority of the route unless I was on all 4s or hopping rock to rock.  I really enjoyed the high altitude environment with heavy breathing and seeing how fast I can move.
