I started at Boyd Tower on a nice sunny morning. The views right from the first steps were stunning looking out along the coastline with the waves crashing into the cliffs. The trail is getting upgraded and is mostly finished however there were a few frees down that you had to go either over or under. It was a lot of up and down to a beach or rocky point and then back up again. I had to cross 2 creeks were I got wet. The first one was only ankle deep (at about 4.5km) the second one was hip deep and so refreshing on a warm day (about 15km). There were a few people out hiking the whole trail over either 2 or 3 days and a few day hikers. But mostly I had the trail to myself. I could see Green ape lighthouse in the distance and knew that was my finish point but I still had about 4km to go. Then I finally got there. Such a stunning walk along the coast.
