FKT: Julie Leasure - PCT-Herman Creek Loop (OR) - 2020-07-25

Perfect day for this AMAZING loop!  I've done this a few times with friends but this was my first time venturing out solo.  I started at 8am and headed up Herman Creek, took the Bridge Trail to PCT, then up PCT and down Herman Creek.  Lack of water sources on the PCT made my loop direction choice an easy one.  Filled up with water once while coming down Herman.  The contrast of the burn + wild flowers was stunning!  Took a few photos, one video, and sent a text to my family that all was well.  For those who might want to do this loop in August/Sept make sure to check with the forest service.  Herman Creek Trailhead will be closed starting July 28th for at least a month possibly more.
