This is my first solo FKT attempt. It was a beautiful day however the run was a challenge. It was quite steep and rocky. I am careful running on rocky terrain due to an injury during a 50k last October. At that event, I fell on a rock, earned myself a trip to the ER via ambulance and ended up with a surgery. I was able to rehab and complete my first 100k in February. I was very careful today on the rocky terrain however felt good that I completed the run. I carried my water with me and had plenty of fuel. Towards the end, I was happy to be close to being finished and added time when I stopped to talk to the backpackers on trail. I feel good about this run and look forward to more. I may not be the fastest women out there but as someone nearing 50, I feel accomplished. Thank you FKT. #womenwhofkt
