I intended this to be a recon run, but ended up faster than I thought! Started at the church in Zermatt solo at 7:00am and followed Jenny's track. I'm not sure why the FKT takes this route, it is definitely not the most direct. But I followed it, including to the Italian cross! Made it to Hornlihutte in 1:55, and about 4:10 for the full ascent, 2:35 for the descent. I on-sighted the climb, and I think this route can go 30 minutes faster with a better line and no snow at the top. Rocked the descent from Hornlihutte, made one wrong turn I retraced my steps on, and made it back to the church for sub-7. Wish I had refilled food and water, but alas, no time for that!
