This run felt a lot more relaxed and easier than my previous attempt, despite taking around 13 minutes off the total time. The conditions underfoot were great with very little bog which made it very enjoyable! I started off faster than planned for the initial hilly miles, which allowed me to resume a more controlled pace for the second (flat) half of the route.
A lovely quite trail through a busy urban area.
This run was unsupported and I fuelled myself by carrying a 500ml soft flask of water and 2 energy gels in a waist belt.
