The Rockingham rail trail is about 10 minutes from my house and I’ve run it quite a bit. I didn’t realize until recently that it was an FKT route! So I decided to tackle it today. I ran from the depot in Newfields to Manchester. It was a beautiful winter sunny day, a little windy but perfectly comfortable. I carried everything I needed with me and only stopped a handful of times for bio breaks, and to tie my shoes. I couldn’t convince my friend to come and get me at the end so I had to take an Uber home!
