Cumberland Valley Rim 2 Rim (southbound) starts on the Appalachian Trail in Pennsylvania, starting where the AT intersects with the Tuscarora and Darlington Trails, which marks the northern end of the Cumberland Valley. This is near Darlington Shelter on the Appalachian Trail. Going southbound, the southern end of the Cumberland Valley is the top of Center Point Knob, south of Boiling Springs, PA. Not only is this the southern end of the Cumberland Valley, it also marks the original center point of the Appalachian Trail and holds historical significance in the AT community.
