I started my run in Odeceixe heading north along the coast. Behind Azenha do Mar the rout led away from the coast due to a closed section. When the route arrived the coast again it started to get a little bushy and slippery. I had to "crouch" through the local flora and crossed some muddy parts.

Behind Zambujeira do Mar the path followed the street until arrived in Entrada da Barca. Here I took a bigger detour due to a big dog I was afraid of. Since there where no alternative way I had to go back and passed the dog. On sandy trails high above the ocean I managed to arrive a Cabo Sardao. A little behind the lighthouse a picked up my first bag that I had placed in advance. Nereby I used a local store for some cold drinks.

The trails became more and more sandy and therefore harder to run. In Almogarve I used a public toilette to get some more water. Still sandy I only ran where I could and made my way to Millefontes slowly. Along the river Mira an over the bridge I arrived Millefontes, where I again bought some water.

On the last stretch to Porto Covo the route followed streets at the beginning. At the end of Strada do Canal was a public fountain I used. From now on the path became really hard to run, even to walk. It was all sandy and only a few stretches could be ran. For example at Praiha do Malhao Sul. In the upcoming darkness I slowly managed it to Porto Covo
