FKT: Kathleen Cusick - Port Clinton to Lehigh Gap on the AT (PA) - 2020-05-09

I was unsure of the finish, as there are two parking lots: I had 39.36 on my Garmin, time of 8:57 when I reached the first parking lot after coming off the trail. I then ran across the bridge and up Rt 248, following white blazes, and the sign that said "cross at light". I made a wrong turn and ran on 145 for a short stretch, turned around, and located the parking lot on 248. Upon reaching the 248 parking lot, I had 40 miles in 9:03.
This is the second in my continuing series of the "PA 6-pack." The beer highlighted on this route was Maple Mistress, a seasonal brew by a local brewery, Saucony Creek. This brew is typically made in the Fall/Winter. It was very appropriate for this run, as temps were in the 30s, the sap on trees was frozen, and I experienced snow squalls at the end while waiting for a ride!
