Thank you to Terri Bush for creating this FKT route. It was a fun adventure and nice run. I'm so sorry to hear about your family's battle with cancer. I recently lost my aunt Sue to cancer and dedicate this FKT to her. She was a light of joy and energy. She loved exercise and getting outside, so she would have loved this trail.
I started at the Bowen Park and ran south. The start and end of this trail is absolutely beautiful! The middle section was by some bigger roads and crossed over a highway interchange but there was a wide shoulder and bikers coming through so helped to validate I was going the right way. I'm glad I had the gpx file on my handy Garmin watch. Most of the route isn't shaded, so I recommend a nice cool day. It was hot for me but enjoyed my run!
