One of my favorite Pure Michigan routes! I ran south to north, and my family met me at the Tawas Point State Park. I ran it with my Clifton Hokas, running vest & a few Cliff Bloks. It was warmer than expected with a nice breeze coming off the lake. Saw 3 garter snakes (!!) on the trail. Cold strawberries & Bell’s Oberon were great post run treats.
I dedicate this run to my family & all of our wonderful memories in Tawas! We love the beautiful sand, consistent breeze and refreshing water. Always special memories together here!
