Awesome! This was my second attempt at this route, the first in 2021. I live in IN but decided to run the route while on a family trip to SC. The weather was spectacular, feeling unseasonably cool for a July morning. I ran with 18oz of Tailwind. The ascent is so hard and I was several minutes slower than the fastest women for the uphill Strava segment. I tried to push it on the downhill, while managing risk. Things can get wild/out of control when running fast-ish on that trail, especially once fatigue sets in. I'm thankful it wasn't any longer so I was able to avoid injury.This is a beautiful trail and I would encourage others to do it!
