I began the Cape to Cape at 4.03am from the Cape Leeuwin lighthouse (southern end).
I am a Margaret river local and avid member of the Margaret river trail running club so it made perfect sense to do this attempt supported and I am so glad I did. My support runners included Jarrad Bolton, Laurence Charron, Joe Barker and Aaron Milward. I also had so much support from the community on the day as I progressed. My partner Jack Freeman drove the support vehicle where I could replace water and take on food.
The run was spectacular, the weather was perfect as I progressed from Cape Leeuwin> Hamelin Bay> Contos> Rivermouth> Gracetown > Injidup > Yallingup > Cape Naturaliste (listed above were also my aid station stops)
I completed the run in a total time of 17h23m57s.
