I had never been here before so this was the perfect route to see the whole mountain at once. There was poor weather further north so I looked for something further south and found this. It still rained most of the time but at least I was under tree cover and on less technical terrain. The climbs on this are very nice and runnable, and the fire tower is so cool! The lookout spot had no views this day so I will have to go back for that. Felt a little tired overall from volunteering at the summit of Mt Chocorua race the day before, but managed this effort well and felt pretty good. Great route and fun mountain to run on!
