I set off at Westminster abbey at 9 am alone staying true to the Harolds way path which predominantly follows the Thames Path into Rochester. My brother Lee Butters joined me here in Rochester and we ran the rest of the trial finishing at Battle Abbey the following day.
The first half is quite speedy through London and some nice trials through Erith and Dartford.
as you begin to get into the Weald of Kent You find yourself crossing multiple farmers fields and stiles at this time of year The crops are high as are the nettles and brambles.
