As part of a link up of public accessible 14ers in the lower 48, after Colorado I rode my bike to California and started Norman's, conditions the first day were great, the 2nd day I had some snowfall and at Palisades traverse there was some ice in the east side making progression slower. After White mountain Jason Hardrath joined me for a day in the bike. The second day biking there was mostly rain. At Shasta there was some fresh snow and very strong winds, I needed to crawl the last 1000feet to the summit to not get blown up. Nice mountains, nice contrast from the desert to the forests.
