I started at McAfee Knob trailhead and went clockwise. That was a good choice; doing Dragon's Tooth at the end would have been terrible. I saw some folks going the other way but never met anyone going my way. I was alone the entire time and did not resupply. I started with 3 liters of water and ran out less than a mile from the end. I ate 4 granola bars and 4 gels. Because I carried so much water, I didn't carry much else. The trip took longer than I expected, but I loved it. The view from Tinker Cliffs at sunset was amazing. The last 4 miles or so really wiped me out. I was in the dark for a good 2 hours.
