Are we sure we are talking about the Lonesome Miner Trail, put together by the Ridgecrest BLM in the 1990s? Because we're talking 15,100 vertical feet up and 17,750 feet down over 30 miles, with some incredibly difficult route-finding (there are no trail markers, and sometimes there is no trail), hot daytime temperatures, and very little water.
