Went out for a workout today at one of my favorite local loops and ended up with a personal best time and a female FKT. It was a bit humid, but given it was a weekday and was threatening rain, I had the trail to myself. Had a couple of spotting slowdowns, but otherwise felt good and was finally able to feel confident enough to work the downhills after healing from an ankle sprain the last couple months. Ran with a fuel belt but only needed a few sips of water given the short distance. A great route overall!
