Started at Echo Canyon TH a little before 10am, temperatures in the mid-40’s. Beautiful, rocky descent and icy in some spots. The climb up the Heart of Rocks loop had a good amount of shade so I could keep moving. Past there took some time to sign the register while at Inspiration Point before returning to my car after noon with a time of 2hrs & 24minutes! Great day had 3 GU’s: one before starting, two throughout. Drank a liter of water & carried sunscreen the whole time for exposure.
