Klemen Triler and Marjan Zupančič have traded the FKT back and forth since Triler set the FKT at 8d14h45m in 2012. This video on Triler's run gives a sense of the variety of terrain along the route. Marjan Zupančič took the record down to 7d14h44m, August 15-23, 2013, and then Triler took it back 2 years later, 7d11h25m, as reported on this site (in Slovenian). This time the Triler's record lasted only about a month when Zupančič shaved 3h15m, running the route in 7d8h10m, as reported here.
