On Sunday the 16th of August 2020, I ran around the island of Langkawi. I started at 4:30 AM. My girlfriend Natalie, accompanied me for the first 30 kilo meters with a scooter. She provided light as well as had some drinks and food that fueled me. At around kilo meter 30 I continued on by myself, relying on road side stores for water and food. It was an absolutely beautiful experience. For future runners, I recommend starting earlier, in order to avoid the heat. It hit me hard at around kilo meter 50, which forced me to slow down, and take two prolonged breaks. All in all, it was an amazing experience as the island is incredibly beautiful.
