Lake Fork to West Fork! Perfect day for a rip with the dog.
Like Bre Allison said, lots of strong ladies in the area who can totally smash this! The FKT is open to either direction, I don't recommend Lake Fork to West Fork as it has more vertical gain than West Forl to Lake Fork. Regardless, super pretty either way!
Plenty of water for pups and refilling bottles. Still some snow on the each side of the Pass but 90% of route was dry and snow free. Only saw one bear. Saw a friend half way, exchanged high-fives. Ended up doing a post run cool down and ran a few miles back to car with her.
