ran this route as the middle 19 miles of my long run! started the figure 8 at 42min elapsed time and ended the figure 8 at 5h34min elapsed time for 4:52 for this route. Such a stunning area WOW!
it was pretty hot out, no where to refill water until you hit the lakes and some little streams near the lakes -- should have taken more advantage of them for cooling. started with both bottles full of juice and refilled once with my filter cap but could have definitely used more.
my time is definitely beatable, knowing the route would help a ton!
