The Blue Ridge parkway was closed for some of the way and my dad was my crew. I had almost a 4 mile hike into the top of Mount Pisgah, and a five and a half mile icy descent down Mount Mitchell. Huge props to him for biking 7 mi and 1,500 ft to give me an extra aid station on the closed parkway at potato Gap. Did it on the winter solstice
