We had been eyeing up this route for a number of years but finally got a date locked in this year to get it done.
We travelled up first thing Friday morning via train from Lichfield to Crewe then switched to get to Chester.
We completed the first 45miles on our own using shops and garages on route, we were then crewed to the finish from Stoke by our buddy Christal.
All went pretty well overall apart from a lot of long grass on some canal paths and field sections, a lot of rain on the Friday morning meant we did most of the route with saturated feet!
